We recognize that those who serve others often carry heavy emotional and mental burdens. That’s why our approach combines evidence-based therapies with compassionate, client-centered care.
Brainspotting (BSP)
A brain-body therapy that uses the field of vision to locate and process deep-seated trauma and emotional pain. It is based on the idea that "where you look affects how you feel," using fixed eye positions (brainspots) to bypass the thinking mind and access the subcortical brain for healing.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
A problem-solving approach that focuses on the link between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It helps people identify and challenge distorted thinking patterns to change unhelpful behaviors and improve emotional regulation.
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Skills
A specialized form of CBT that balances acceptance with change through the use of four core skill modules: Mindfulness (staying present), Distress Tolerance (getting through crises without making them worse), Emotion Regulation (shifting feelings), and Interpersonal Effectiveness (navigating relationships).
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
A systemic approach that views the mind as a collection of sub-personalities or "parts". Therapy focuses on accessing the core, compassionate Self to lead and heal these parts, resolving internal conflict and trauma.
Motivational Interviewing (MI)
A collaborative conversation style designed to strengthen a person’s own motivation and commitment to change. It works by using empathy and strategic questioning to help people resolve ambivalence and find their own internal reasons for progress.
