Therapy at Frontline Counseling & Wellness
What is Therapy?
Therapy is a collaborative process that provides a safe and supportive space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. While coaching focuses on growth and future goals, therapy often goes deeper—helping you heal from the past, work through current challenges, and build coping strategies for the future.
Therapy isn’t about fixing you—it’s about walking alongside you as you navigate life’s challenges, discover your strengths, and create a healthier, more balanced way of living.
How Therapy Can Help
Therapy may be beneficial if you are:
Experiencing symptoms of anxiety, stress, or depression
Struggling with trauma, grief, or unresolved experiences
Facing challenges in relationships or communication
Wanting to build emotional regulation and resilience
Working through transitions, burnout, or compassion fatigue
Seeking personal growth and a stronger sense of self
Sessions are tailored to your unique needs and typically last 45–60 minutes, offered in person or via telehealth.
Brainspotting in Therapy
At Frontline Counseling & Wellness, one of the specialized approaches we use is Brainspotting—a powerful, brain-body therapy that helps clients access and process experiences stored deep in the nervous system.
What is Brainspotting?
Brainspotting uses eye position to access “brainspots”—specific points in the visual field connected to unprocessed trauma, stress, or emotions. By gently focusing on these points in a safe, supportive environment, your brain and body naturally begin to process and release what has been held.
Why It Helps
Many clients describe Brainspotting as a way of going deeper than talk therapy alone. It allows you to tap into the body’s natural ability to heal and often leads to:
Relief from anxiety, panic, or overwhelm
Processing and releasing trauma and grief
Reducing physical symptoms of stress and tension
Improved emotional regulation and resilience
Greater clarity, calm, and self-awareness
What to Expect
A Brainspotting session feels collaborative and client-led. You don’t need to retell every detail of past experiences; instead, you are guided to focus on the brainspot while your body does the work of healing. Sessions may feel calming, emotional, or insightful—and are always paced according to your needs.
